Dairyland Festival & parade kick off Dairy Month

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Jefferson County is kicking off Dairy Month festivities Friday.

Claire Zumbach is the county's outgoing dairy princess and Alyssa Couse is with the Cornell Cooperative Extension.

It's from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 7 at the Dulles State Office Building in Watertown.

A parade is at 7 p.m. the same day. It starts at the Watertown high School and heads downtown.

Afterward, people can enjoy a free ice cream sundae inside the state office building.
