LAFARGEVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - The 29th annual Thousand Islands Bluegrass Festival is underway.
This year, it features Ralph Stanley II, Edgar Loudermilk, and so much more.
It’s a weekend of foot-tappin’ and string-strummin'.
Located in LaFargeville, the festival has camping, bands, workshops, and 10 year old Ian Stonge.
Ian has been playing the mandolin for three years and is thrilled to be performing at the bluegrass festival again.
“I love it because I love playing with people and playing with other famous people up on stage and seeing how they do stuff,” he said.
Be sure to catch Ian and many others playing on stage this weekend.
