OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWNY) - Damage was confined to an attic after fire broke out at an Ogdensburg home Monday.
Firefighters from three departments were called to 412 Caroline Street Monday afternoon.
They were able to douse the flames and keep the damage confined to the attic.
“An aggressive interior attack through the front door and up the stairs and into the attic and push the fire back out. Use the ladder truck to do some overhaul on the roof,” said Nick Friot, St. Lawrence County deputy fire coordinator.
The homeowners were there when the fire broke out but made it to safety.
No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
