NORWOOD, N.Y. (WWNY) - A pair of registered sex offenders are in trouble for allegedly failing to tell authorities they moved.

St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies say 42 year old Carl Monroe and 59 year old Russell Crossman Sr. were living in Norfolk and moved to 14 Mechanic Street in Norwood.

They were each charged with a felony charge of failure to register a change of address, which they're supposed to do within 10 days.

State records show Monroe was convicted of third-degree rape in 2001 for having sex with a 15 year old girl and Crossman was convicted of felony sex offense in 1984 for having sexual contact with a 9 year old girl.

Monroe and Crossman were issued tickets to appear in Potsdam town court at a later date.
