Watertown man pleads guilty to assaulting officer

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A 28 year old Watertown man has admitted to assaulting an officer.

Daniel Rivers pleaded guilty Monday in Jefferson County Court to second-degree assault.

In March, the sheriff's office said Rivers caused an injury to an officer's left shoulder during a physical altercation.

He faces 3 years in prison when he’s sentenced August 2.
