WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Eight candidates were vying in Tuesday’s primary for the opportunity to run for two seats on Watertown’s city council.
Only four will move on in the general election.
Incumbent council member Sarah Compo led the pack with 1,552 votes, followed by Jesse Roshia’s 1,056 votes.
Robert Schorr, 394, and Patrick Hickey, 321, round out the top four.
Frank Roberts, Stanley Cosper, Matthew Melvin, and Aaron Clemons also ran for council.
