Chef Chris Manning prepares Asian Pepper Steak. He says you can do the same thing with pork or chicken.
It's so easy to put together, you might want to talk the kids into helping.

- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh, minced ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 1/2 cup sliced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced green bell pepper
- 2 pounds diced cooked beef (sirloin works well)
Mix all the sauce ingredients together and set aside.
Heat oil in a wok or Dutch oven on medium-high heat and ass the onions, peppers, and beef. Cook until beef is browned and onions begin to wilt
Add the sauce and cook until it coats the back of a spoon.
Serve over rice or pasta.
