Mud racing to take place at Adirondack International Speedway

NEW BREMEN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A big weekend of racing is set to get underway at Adirondack International Speedway beginning Saturday, but it’s not racing that will be taking place on the oval.

The MRA, also known as the Mud Racing Association, is making a stop this weekend at Adirondack International Speedway in New Bremen for the MRA Northeast Nationals. It is a weekend long event that brings some of the best competitors from the U.S. and Canada to the track.

The track at New Bremen is a unique one on the MRA circuit since it is a san based track. Troy Liebi, the event promoter says that most peoples’ perception of mud racing isn’t what fans in attendance will see this weekend.

Racing begins Saturday from noon to 4 and concludes on Sunday with races beginning at 11 AM.
