WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - We say a reluctant good-bye and send our best wishes to one of the people who has made 7 News work for the last five years.
Monday was Patrick Malowski’s final day at WWNY.
Patrick is a man of many talents. You’ve known him as our weekend anchor and reporter.
But when ever Patrick walked into the newsroom, you would hear his name called out as colleagues beckoned for help with the newest piece of technology in the newsroom.
Patrick played a big part in helping create the graphics you see in our newscast. He’s an anchor, reporter, teacher, mentor and recruiter.
He’d often go back to SUNY Oswego and be a champion for Channel 7.
Patrick is known in the newsroom as a nice guy who always pushes for things to be better.
Patrick is taking some time off from the news business to chase other interests - he’s also a musician and skilled with computer graphics.
Patrick, our best to you and we’ll miss you!
