WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - It’s an important piece of North Country history, and it’s celebrating its 200th anniversary.
Constable Hall was built in Lewis County’s Constableville in the early 1800s by William Constable, Jr. Constable’s family had a major role in the early development of our area.
An anniversary celebration is planned for July 14th, starting at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free.
Expect plenty of family activities, music, and historic exhibits. And you can learn about our area’s connection to the famed poem, “The Night Before Christmas.”
