MASSENA, N.Y. (WWNY) - State troopers have accused a Massena man of tearing down State Highway 420 on his motorcycle, reaching speeds of 111 miles per hour.

37 year old Domanique P. Deragon is facing a number of charges, including reckless driving, speed over a state limit, and resisting arrest.

State police troopers say Deragon was speeding through the towns of Norfolk and Massena late Sunday night. Authorities attempted to pull him over, but they say Deragon tried losing them, by pulling into his own driveway at 2226 State Highway 420, and parking behind a garage.

Deragon was placed in custody after a “brief struggle with troopers.”

He was arraigned in Town of Massena Court and released after posting $1,000 cash bail.
