WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Two men are accused of possessing crack cocaine, oxycodone and marijuana.
The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56 year old Russell Snyder Jr. of Potsdam and 32 year old David McCane of Syracuse during a traffic stop Tuesday night in the town of Canton.
Officials said the men were in possession of 30 grams of crack cocaine, 32 grams of marijuana, 51 oxycodone pills and digital scales.
Both were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
McCane was additionally charged with second-degree criminal impersonation and being a parole absconder.
Both suspects were arraigned in Pierrepont Town Court and ordered held in the county jail without bail.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the county drug task force, Canton and Gouverneur police departments, State Police and U.S. Border Patrol.
