2 home invasion suspects indicted by grand jury

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A Jefferson County grand jury indicted two men Tuesday in connection with a home invasion in Watertown.

In May, city police arrested 25 year old Brandon Barnett, who has no fixed address, and 30 year old Roger Brogdon of 661 Factory Street, Apartment 6, Watertown.

Patrols were called to 634 Factory Street for a burglary complaint.

According to police, a man told them two men had forcibly entered his apartment and attacked him, causing injuries to his head. That man, identified in the indictment as Patrick Fish, was taken to Samaritan Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

Brogdon and Barnett were indicted on the following counts:

- first-degree burglary

- second-degree burglary

- third-degree assault

- fourth-degree criminal mischief

Brogdon, who was on parole, was ordered held in the Jefferson County Jail without bail following his arrest.

Barnett’s bail was set at $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
