LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - Madison Clark had her shades on and umbrella up Wednesday while she was walking around the Lewis County Fair. A little rain wasn't going to ruin her day.
“There is so much you can do inside,” she said.
Madison wasn’t the only one enjoying herself; the Fehr siblings were practicing milking a cow. They came all the way from Illinois to attend the fair - rain or shine.
“I’m having fun,” said Reed Fehr.
“Hopefully we will get to see some cows too and maybe some sheep,” said Amelie Fehr.
With Wednesday’s rain, the tractor and truck pulls had to be canceled.
Rides had to be opened later in the day too. But plenty of people were out getting lunch and cotton candy.
There was also a building full of activities for kids inside.
At the end day, no matter what the weather is like, a day at the fair is, in the words of Amelie Fehr, “Very special.”
