WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Remnants of former tropical storm Barry will affect the north country for a time Wednesday.

Showers are likely in the morning and thunderstorms are possible. There's a smaller chance of rain in the afternoon and we could see a few peeks of sun.

It will be humid, but the lack of direct sun means it will be a little cooler than it was on Tuesday.

Highs will be in the upper-70s.

Skies clear this evening and overnight and we're back to sunny, hot, and humid on Thursday.

Thursday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

It stays hot and muggy over the weekend and into the start of next week.

It will be in the mid- to upper-80s with a chance of rain each day for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

It will be mostly sunny and in the mid-70s on Tuesday.
