WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - It's going to be a very hot and very muggy weekend.

A heat advisory starts at noon for Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego, and St. Lawrence counties. It ends at 6 p.m. Saturday for all but St. Lawrence County. That advisory lasts until 8 p.m. Saturday.

Highs will be in the mid-80s on Friday, the upper-80s on Saturday, and around 80 on Sunday.

There's a small risk of showers and thunderstorms each day.

It gets a little cooler and much less humid after the weekend.

It will be mostly sunny on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and partly sunny on Thursday.

Highs will be in the upper-70s Monday and in the mid-70s on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
