PARISHVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - A Norwood man suffered a head injury when he crashed his UTV in the town of Parishville Saturday night.

State police say 54 year old Thomas Wilber lost control of his vehicle on the French Hill Road. Troopers say they found him unconscious near the intersection with the Wildwood Road shortly before 11:30 p.m.

Troopers say their investigation showed the UTV went off the road, went down an embankment, hit a large rock, and rolled onto its driver's side.

Wilber, who was alone in the vehicle, was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital and was later taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where he was listed in critical, but stable condition.

Police say they’re continuing to investigate the crash.
