Season winding down for Watertown Rapids

Watertown Rapids' season winds down

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - With just three games left in the regular season, the Watertown Rapids are in a dogfight for a playoff berth.

As they head down to the wire, the Rapids have scheduled several promotions, which they found bring people to the ballpark who wouldn't normally turn out for a game.

In the video, general manager Brandon Noble outlines what they have lined up.

On the field, Michael Wood has coached this team his first season. He says it's been a great experience.

"I've had a lot of fun with it," he said. "It's been a good group since day one, so it's a pleasure to come to the ballpark with them."

You can hear more from him in the video.

The Rapids face Newark at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds at 6:15 p.m. Thursday.
