WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - It’s called interventional radiology and it’s a way to perform procedures in the most minimally invasive way.

Dr. Sima Banerjee is Samaritan Medical Center’s director of interventional radiology and oncology.

She talked about it during Samaritan's Morning Checkup segment on 7 News This Morning.

She says doctors use CT, ultrasound, and x-rays to target a disease without invasive surgical procedures.

Watch the video for her interview.
