WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Blueberries are very healthy.
Cathy Moore from Cornell Cooperative Extension brought some blueberries to the 7 News studio that she picked herself.

She says blueberries are rich in nutrients, fiber, and a substance that offers protection from some chronic diseases.
They're great in desserts, fruit salads, green salads, and smoothies, among many other uses.
They also keep well, because they’re easy to freeze.
