WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Watertown youth baseball leagues were in the spotlight at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds Monday night.
The night featured two All-Star games with players up to 13 years old.
The two leagues featured that night were just a sampling of what the Parks and Recreation does during the summer.
"There's something from kids to adults that everyone looks forward to," assistant superintendent Scott Weller said. "You get to be outside and enjoy beautiful weather like this, and you know, play ball and everybody has a good time and it's something to look forward to during the summer."
You can hear more from Weller and from longtime volunteer Larry Lafave in the video.
