WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A local band will open up for Foreigner in Watertown Wednesday as part of the Disabled Persons Action Organization's annual concert series.
The Northmen are getting ready to take the stage at the Watertown Municipal Arena.
In the past, the rock band has opened up for other national acts as part of the DPAO concert series.
This year, the band has been getting ready through a number of gigs. Lead singer Jeremy Lawlor says the band has enjoyed partnering with the DPAO.
"Just by chance, it happened to work out that we got offered to do this show," he said. "For the Northmen act, just expect a lot of energy, high energy and rock and roll."
The show is at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The DPAO is holding an auction for two front-row seats and a meet-and-greet with Foreigner.
The starting bid is $200. You can visit DPAO Concerts Facebook page to enter.
The bidding ends at noon on Tuesday.
