SPCA: sweet little Fannie

SPCA: sweet little Fannie

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Fannie is a little sweetheart.

Jefferson County SPCA executive director Heather Spezzano brought the 5 months old lab-pit mix to the 7 News studio.

Fannie will be ready for her adoption as soon as she's microchipped and spayed.

There's about 10 other dogs on the shelter, mostly larger ones.

Of particular note is Buddy, a pit bull mix who recently came from the Jefferson County Dog Shelter, where's he's been for about a year.

And of course there are cats -- about 100, with another 100 on a waiting list to come into the shelter.

The SPCA is also starting a microchip clinic. It's from noon to 2 p.m. on Fridays. It costs $20 to get your pet 'chipped, no matter where you got it.
