WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - It's an annual tradition for Watertown High School seniors -- a parade to mark the beginning of the end.

They meet up at city hall and make their way up Washington Street with a police escort.

Members of the Class of 2020 cheered and waved from their cars and trucks as parents took photos and videos from the sidelines.

"It's like a kickoff to our year." senior Madison Brinker said. "It's like the start knowing, like realizing, that we are seniors, that we all are together and it's our last year of high school."

There are 258 students in this year’s senior class.
