Friday morning sports wrap

LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - Lowville was down 2-1 in the second half of a Frontier League boys' soccer contest when Devin Runner got a foot on the ball and tied the game at 2.

Watertown regained the lead when Ethan Uliano made it 3-2 for the Cyclones.

In the end it was Watertown 4-2 over the Red Raiders.

That's just one of the local high school sports contests highlighted in the video.

- Keegan Morrow of Copenhagen scored the game's first two goals in the first half of a boys' soccer match-up with Sackets Harbor. The Golden Knights went on to beat Sackets 4-0

- South Jefferson's Mark Fairchild scored the loan goal in a boys' soccer contest against Carthage. The final score was 1-0.

- In boys' Northern Athletic Conference soccer, OFA and Canton battled back and forth and ended their contest with a 5-all tie.

- It was the season opener for both Massena and Canton in NAC volleyball. Delany Durant lead Massena with 9 service points, 4 kills, and 2 blocks. Anna Thompson added 15 service points, 5 kills, and 6 digs. Abby Benham had 12 service points as Massena beat Canton 3 games to 1.
