WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Flower Memorial Library in Watertown wants to ask voters for funding.

The library is seeking $75,000 from city school district taxpayers.

They want to put a resolution on the annual school vote ballot.

In a letter to city leaders, the library board president says the funding would be used for new books and other items.

The money is intended to compensate for an 80 percent decrease in funding from the city over the past 10 years.

Representatives from the library are expected to present their plan in front of city council during a work session Monday night.
