Tuesday morning sports wrap

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - It turned out to be a good win on their home field for the Immaculate Heart boys' soccer team Monday.

The game was scoreless when in the second half the Cavaliers tried to get on the board off a direct kick, but Joe Rapp came up with a big save for Indian River.

At the other end, Indian River hoped to score, but Jayden Guga came up with the defensive play for the Cavaliers.

IHC got on the board later in the second half when Nick McNulty found the back of the net, giving the Cavaliers a 1-0 lead.

Then the Cavaliers iced the game. Jacob Grant beat the goalkeeper to the ball and tickled twine, putting the Cavaliers ahead 2-0.

That's how the game ended, Immaculate Heart 2, Indian River 0.
