WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A Canton man is accused of stealing more than $2,600 from three Hannaford stores, including Watertown's.
State police say 30 year old Brian Laprade was allegedly caught leaving the Watertown Hannaford on Saturday without paying for about $300 worth of merchandise.
He's also accused of stealing more than $2,300 worth of flea medication from Hannaford stores in Plattsburgh and Saratoga.
Laprade was charged with first-degree scheming to defraud, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
He was ticketed and is scheduled to appear in Watertown town court later this month.
