United Way to hold 13th annual Jefferson County food drive

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - The United Way of Northern New York is having its annual food Jefferson County drive this Friday.

Executive director Jamie Cox says the drive supports 19 food pantries throughout the county.

He says 24,000 food items were donated last year and they hope to break that by 1,000 this year.

The drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, September 13 at St. Anthony's Church on Arsenal Street in Watertown

They accept non-perishable and frozen food. If you don't have time to shop, they also accept cash.
