LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - An Indianapolis, Indiana man already in St. Lawrence County jail now faces charges in Lewis County involving several counterfeit bills.

Lewis County sheriff's deputies say 31 year old Ronnie Westbook allegedly tried to use 11 fake $100 bills to buy merchandise at Lowville's Walmart.

He was charged with 11 counts of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count fourth-degree grand larceny, both felonies.

Westbrook was arraigned in Lowville town court and returned to St. Lawrence County jail on $50,000 bail.

Jail officials say he is in their facility facing similar charges.
