DEXTER, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Lions had a milestone this week.
The General Brown boys' soccer team is undefeated so far this season, but some wins are considered bigger than others.
The program has been in existence for 17 years and Wednesday night marked the first time General Brown defeated Watertown.
The Lions beat the Cyclones 2-0 to improve to 6-0-1 for the season.
Coach Phil Jenner, who's been with the program for 15 years says the win was very meaningful.
"That was a great playoff atmosphere, it was a great crowd for the area, it was great for General Brown soccer, for soccer in this area," he said. "Watertown is always good and we just happened to catch them on a good night where we were just a little bit better."
