WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - It's White Cane Day next week.
Olivia Kassoum-Amadou from the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired of Northern New York talked about it on 7 News This Morning.
With her was board treasurer Bob Ashodian, who talked about an upcoming corporate campaign.

White Cane Day is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 12 at Salmon Run Mall in Watertown.
There will be vision screenings, games, Braille demonstrations, and a maze for people to try their hands at navigating using a white cane.

The 20/20 corporate campaign is starting to ramp up. The plan is to raise $100,000 to help fund progress in the field of vision rehabilitation.
