WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A motorcyclist critically injured in a crash in Watertown last Saturday morning has died.

Jacob Thomas, 28, of Black River, died at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, according to his obituary.

Watertown police said they responded to the Arsenal Street bridge near Shakers Bar shortly after 2 AM last Saturday. Police said Thomas was headed away from the city when he lost control and crashed. The bridge was shut down for several hours.
