Jefferson County to hold information sessions on early voting

Early voting information sessions

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - This is the first election in which people in New York state can vote early.

The Jefferson County Board of Elections is holding sessions where voters can learn more about early voting.

Elections commissioners Babette Hall and Jude Seymour were on 7 News This Morning to let us know. Watch the video for their interview.

The sessions are:

- at 6 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, October 16) at the Clayton Opera House

- at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 17 at the Adams Fire Hall

- at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22 at the Jefferson Community College Commons

The sessions also give people a chance to check out the county's new electronic poll books.

Nine days of early voting start on Saturday, October 26.
