2 arrested in Lisbon meth bust
LISBON, N.Y. (WWNY) - St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies say they were serving arrest warrants on two people who lived in the same apartment in Lisbon on Monday when they saw what they suspected were meth-making ingredients.
Deputies say they obtained a search warrant for Apartment 2 at 226 Woods Road and arrested 32 year old Donald Dobbs III on Tuesday and Elizabeth Brunet on Wednesday.
During the search, deputies say they found an active meth lab and ingredients and equipment used to make the drug.
They were each charged with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Dobbs was arraigned in Lisbon town court and sent to county jail without bail.
Bail for Brunet was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond during her arraignment in Morristown town court.
Deputies say they were helped by members of the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, the Ogdensburg Police Department, and the state police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT).
