WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A Watertown man is accused of threatening someone with a knife just outside Watertown Sunday evening.

Jefferson County sheriff's deputies say 36 year old Matthew Arca allegedly had a knife in his hand as he chased another man and threatened to stab him.

Deputies say it happened at Seaway Lanes in the town of Pamelia.

Arca was charged with second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Deputies say there were four children present, so he was also charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

He was arraigned in Pamelia town court and released on his own recognizance.
