WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A Watertown man spoke to us about a struggle he and thousands of people in pain are facing - being weaned off prescription opioids:

I've developed tachycardia since having my medication cut!

Jerri Maddy

If you want to wean a long term opioid user off of their use, you need to go to a pain management center.

Bill Stewart

Some of us, in order to live as much of a pain free life as we can, need these meds in order to do it.

Michael Stevens

Governor Andrew Cuomo came to Clayton last week. He announced the state is providing $60 million to Jefferson and St. Lawrence county municipalities to build bigger and stronger after record flooding on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River:

It's amazing how he allows the area to be destroyed then months later steps in to toss our tax money at it and act like a savior.

Nate Sweeney

Isn’t that why you have flood insurance?

Jeana Davis Weston

Watertown’s old Kmart building has been sold for $500,000. That’s according to Jefferson County property records:

They should put a casino in the building!

Brandon Wright

Cabela’s or Bass Pro would be good.

Nathan Daniel Smith

Indoor water park, ideally with a hotel.
