WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Voting is well underway this Election Day.

Polls have been open since 6 a.m. They close at 9 p.m.

Watertown mayoral candidates Cody Horbacz, Allison Crossman, and Jeff Smith all cast their ballots early Tuesday.

Smith voted at Stone Presbyterian Church. Both Crossman and Horbacz cast their ballots at the Emma Flower Taylor Fire Station.

All three candidates sounded upbeat when they were interviewed Tuesday morning.

"I feel pretty good, I feel really good," Smith said. "I wish the weather was much nicer, but I hope the turnout is well and, civic duty every November, get out and vote."

“I feel great, you know it’s been a long road, we started this back in February” Horbacz said. “We’ve had some fun, we’ve had some tough times, but man, I’m happy today is here and excited to vote.”

"Feeling fantastic today," Crossman said. "I feel very confidently with the positive campaign I've run and I'm really looking forward to tonight."

Here’s a brief overview of other races to follow.
