LYONSDALE, N.Y. (WWNY) - A Lyonsdale man is accused of running a vehicle off the road and threatening the driver.
Lewis County sheriff’s deputies say 33 year old Brian Ripp allegedly drove the other vehicle off the Moose River Road Monday night.
Deputies say he used what they called "a dangerous instrument" to threaten the other driver.
Ripp allegedly backed into the vehicle and left the scene.
He was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, and second-degree harassment.
Ripp was arraigned in Turin town court and sent to jail without bail.
He will answer the charges in Lyonsdale town court at a later date.
