WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A former NFL player and current running back in the Canadian Football League is being held without bail in the Jefferson County Jail.
State Police arrested 38 year old Stefan Logan on Monday after he tried crossing from Canada into the United States at the Alexandria Bay port of entry. Police say U.S. Customs officials learned he was wanted in Oakland County, Michigan for failure to pay child support.
Logan is originally from Florida, and currently plays professional football with the Ottawa Redblacks in the CFL. Before that, he had an NFL career, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions. 7News has reached out to the Redblacks organization for comment.
Logan is held in the Jefferson County jail without bail, as he awaits extradition to Michigan.
