CARTHAGE, N.Y. (WWNY) - The 12th annual craft fair took place at the Carthage VFW. For two dollars, people could browse the collection of 20 different vendors.
Proceeds from vendor fees, ticket sales and donations for baked goods go toward Jefferson County Hospice.
Event organizer Deanna Guyette has run the event since it started.
Guyette says the fair is a way to give back to an organization that has helped so many in the community.
“We’ve had a few family members who had to have hospice care. And, not only our family members. People involved with other events are touched by hospice. It’s amazing the people that come out to support that because hospice obviously supports us," said Guyette.
Guyette says the event has brought in more than 100 people year after year.
