WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - The annual Mayors Ball was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Watertown Saturday night.
The purpose of the event is to raise money for various charitable causes across the city. This year, proceeds from tickets sales will be donated to the Disabled Persons Action Organization, the Walker Center for Cancer Care and the Children’s Miracle Network, among other organizations.
“It's good to celebrate the last four years and some of what we've accomplished as a team. And, to raise money for a good cause and share some memories with friends you may not have seen in some time,” said Joe Butler Jr., mayor of Watertown.
In years past, the event has raised up to $10,000 in donations.
