TOWN OF LERAY, N.Y. (WWNY) - Two people were hurt in a crash on Route 11 in the town of LeRay Monday afternoon. That’s according to state police.

Troopers said a pickup truck and a car collided.

According to police, one person in the car suffered serious injuries, while another person in the pickup sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Watertown’s Samaritan Medical Center for treatment.

The highway was closed between Route 26 to Waddingham Road for a couple of hours. It is now open to traffic.

State police said snow covered roads were a factor in the crash. We’ll update this story when we get more information.
