TOWN OF HOUNSFIELD, N.Y. (WWNY) - North country high school students are getting ready for their future careers.
More than 1,500 students attended WorkForce Connections Wednesday at the Watertown International Airport.
Students were able to sit down and interview with dozens of employers in the area.
Cheryl Mayforth, director of The WorkPlace, says it’s important for students to learn how to interview and create a resume.
"Secondly, it's important for them to know all the opportunities that we have here in our area that they can search out when they are finished high school or their high school education," she said.
Members of the 7 News team were part of WorkForce Connections and met with students.
