MADRID, N.Y. (WWNY) - The championship game would go down to the wire in the Jessie Chamberlain girls' basketball tournament at Madrid-Waddington.

Heuvelton's Grace Mills passed under pressure to Bella Doyle, who drained the bucket. That put Heuvelton 2-0 over Madrid-Waddington.

Madrid-Waddinton's Alexis Sullivan sliced through the Heuvelton defense to score, tying things up at 2-2.

Teammate Grace Plumley passed back to Sullivan, who scored a three.

Lydia Thomas dribble-penetrates and dishes to Jaelynn Uppstrom for the trifecta, putting the Jackets up 8-2.

Heuvelton's Doyle went on a fast break to Rayna Cameron for the basket.

Dakota Mouthorp squared up and made a 3-pointer.

In a game that featured 7 ties and 5 lead changes, Heuvelton hung on for a 45-44 win.

The consolation game featured Parishville-Hopkinton vs. Hermon-DeKalb.

Parishville-Hopkinton's Autumn MacWilliams passed to Kelly Bloom for the layup.

Hermon-DeKalb's Hillary Jones capitalized on a rebound for two, putting the Green Demons up 27-8.

Mattie Lee Beshaw dished to Hailey Bouchey for a short jumper.

Brianna Grant swung outside to Jones who drained a 3-pointer, making it 41-10 H-D.

H-D's Audrianna Tehonica passed to Abrielle Marcellus for a 2.
