MADRID, N.Y. (WWNY) - It was the final two games Wednesday in the John Dineen tournament at Madrid-Waddington.

In the championship match, Braedan Free found a seam and tossed down a 2-pointer, giving Heuvelton an early 10-8 lead.

Madrid-Waddington's Colby Beldock passed to Trent Lashua for the fall-away jumper, tying the game at 10-10.

Brennan Harmer spots Lashua in the "back door" for another 2.

Free spots up and drains the 3-pointer, giving Heuvelton a 13-12 advantage.

The final score: Madrid-Waddington 78, Heuvelton 59.

Edwards-Knox vs. Colton-Pierrepont in the consolation.

Joe Hart spun inside for 2 of his game-best 23 points: 2-0 Cougars.

Tyler Scott took a shot, then followed and scored off his own rebound: 4-0 Cougars.

E-K's Avery Whitford with the inside pass to Jordan Collett who made the bucket-and-one.

The Colts’ Harlee Besio got the put-back.

C-P's Teddy Farns to Noah Rousell with the 18-footer. The Cougars lead 14-7.

The Colts' Matt Duvall drove the baseline for 2 of his team-best 15 points.

Edwards-Knox pulled away for a 58-42 win.
