WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Kaleb L. Austin,19, passed away Wednesday, November 27th, 2019, at his home.

He was born December 23rd, 1999 in Watertown, NY, a son of James E. and Tenisha Austin.

He is survived by his father James E Austin and partner Bridget DeMarse, his mother Tenisha M. Austin and partner Jonathan Mekeel. Sisters, Haeley, Kiara, Isabelle, Sofia, Melody, and brother Caden. Fiancé Virginia Hungerford.

He is also survived by his Aunt Danielle (Marty) Brown) Aunts Terry, and Tammy Austin, Robin Alverez and Cameil Kaundart. Grandmothers, Michelle Holder and Taasha Lyndsay. Great Grandmother, Diane Quencer and numerous wonderful cousins.

Kaleb was a co founder of KLA Property Management Services with his dad and worked in the kitchen at the Garden Hilton Inn in Watertown. A graduate of Carthage Central High School in 2018 and the Culinary Arts program at Boces, he was attending Jefferson Community College pursuing a degree in Restaurant Management.

Kaleb loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed music, photography, writing, fishing and loved to draw. Kaleb had a genuine loving heart and a soul that inspired those he was around in ways almost unexplainable. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, coworkers and all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers Lawrence J. Austin, Edward R. Holder Sr. and Uncle Richard Haven.

A memorial service will be held at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown on Friday, December 6, at 5:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Smith, First Baptist Church, presiding. Following the service a celebration of his life will be held at the Masonic Temple, 240 Washington St., Watertown. Online condolences to his family may be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com.
