Christmas crafting at Flower Memorial Library

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - People crafted with Christmas spirit at Flower Memorial Library in Watertown Saturday. They were making wreaths in the shape of Santa.

The workshop was free and run by librarian Amanda Tehonica. She taught the group each step of the process.

Tehonica says she enjoys showing people how to make crafts that might seem a bit tricky at first.

“I love finding those cool projects that might catch someone’s eye, but they might not think they can handle making it on their own. And I love grabbing those supplies, arranging a class, and then having everyone come in that’s interested in that project,” said Tehonica.

Participants got to take their wreaths home when they were done.

Flower Memorial Library will be hosting another Christmas craft workshop Monday night, December 2, at 6 PM.
