CARTHAGE, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Carthage area will be busy in a few days as the twin villages of Carthage and West Carthage host their annual holiday weekend.
The Chamber of Commerce's Jeanette Turner says there will be a lot of events both Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7.

The parade is at 6 p.m. on Friday. It starts in Carthage and ends at the West Carthage boat launch gazebo for that community's tree light ceremony.
After that comes fireworks over the river.
The evening's events are free, but people are asked to bring non-perishable food for the food pantry.
You can have breakfast with Santa at the American Legion from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday. Breakfast costs $10 per person.
The Twin Village Christmas is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Augustinian Academy. Admission is $1 or a non-perishable food item.
The Memory Tree Lighting is at 6:30 p.m.
