Highlights & scores: NAC hoops & hockey

Thursday morning sports wrap

OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWNY) - It was 45 seconds into the second period of a Northern Athletic Conference boys' hockey matchup against Ogdensburg when Norwood-Norfolk's Reed Gravlin fired his own rebound into the mesh. Score: 1-0 Icemen.

Ogdensburg appeared to have scored the tying goal late in the second period, but the score was waved off because the goal was off its mooring.

Icemen goalie Thomas Cafarella kept the Blue Devils off the scoreboard the rest of the way.

The Icemen hung on to beat OFA 2-0.

In NAC boys' basketball, Lisbon's Karter Jordan passed to Kaiden Mussen for a 16-footer in a contest against Morristown.

Mussen worked inside for the easy inbound score.

Ethan Martin passed to Mussen from the land of 3s. He would score 28 points.

Morristown's Cale Woodcock knocked down two free throws. He led the Rockets with 14 points.
